This shoe has everything it's
predecessor has except for the ringer breaker. Once we made the initial
E-Z Flip shoe for seven time World Champion, Sue Snyder, we then had a ton of
requests to make that same exact shoe without the breaker and that's what this
is. The ringer break is really only needed by people who lose a lot of
ringers or high percentage players who need every possible advantage to win...
The majority of flip pitchers don't have problems losing ringers and prefer to
pitch a shoe with a smooth gripping area rather than one with a ringer breaker
and this shoe is perfect for that. As with the first shoe, Sue's input was instrumental in designing this shoe. We aren't flip
pitchers, so we recruited the best in the world to get help designing a flip
shoe that works better than any other... the result was two shoes, this one and
the original Snyder E-Z Flip (the same shoe but with the ringer break).
Just like the first shoe, this shoe
has it all too-- Extremely heavy tips and a lower/flatter rear thumb
cleat for truly "E-Z " flipping! Hence its name: "E-Z Flip II"!
When
pitching this shoe, the tips are weighted so heavily, that it should feel like
it is pulling out of your hand and beginning its flip before you let it go-- It
should practically flip by itself with almost no effort.
This
shoe features a squarer shape instead of a curve, allowing for a
wider gripping area. This gives the pitcher more room to adjust their
grip, like turn throwers have along the blade of the shoe-- a unique advancement
in flip shoe design.
The
edges of each shoe are smooth and nicely rounded, allowing the shoe to
"pull" out of your hand with ease. This also helps reduce
fatigue and blistering, which is common when using sharper edged shoes.
Some of this might be a bit
redundant, but it's all worth saying again...This shoe is always in stock, year
round, and it is
manufactured from the highest quality, most durable alloy on the market and
carries our famous one-year no hassle factory warranty... If they break under
warranty, like all the shoes we make, you'll have a new pair immediately... we

Sue
Snyder of Madisonville, KY narrowly defeated Canada's best, Sylvianne Moisan, in a play-off
for the Women's World Championship in York, PA on July 19, 2008,
winning her very impressive 7th world title! Sue went 19-1,
pitching 86.3% for the tournament, losing just the final game of
regulation to Moisan to set up the play-off match between the two, which
lasted 124 shoes... Snyder pitched 110 ringers for 88.7% to
Moisan's 107 ringers for 86.3%... It doesn't get much better than
that... what a finish! |

And........ Congratulations to
Abby Green from Adamsville, Ohio for winning the Girls World Championship in
horseshoes on July 12, 2008, in York, Pennsylvania! Abby was undefeated at
19-0 overall and 5-0 in the finals, averaging 59.89% ringers... absolutely
awesome and she did it pitching the Snyder E-Z Flip Horseshoes... add another
world champ to the list for the Snyder shoes! |

When you proceed
to the next page to enter this item into your shopping cart, you
will be prompted to choose quantity, color and weight options. The color
option is pretty basic, but the weight option requires a bit of
explanation...
In the weight
selection box, you will be asked to choose from three selections:
official weight, medium and heavy. The official weight of a
horseshoe is 2 lbs. 8 oz. and the NHPA allows for a variance of two
ounces, making the maximum weight 2 lbs. 10 oz.
If you select
"Official Weight" you will get horseshoes within that range and that
generally satisfies most everyone.
Occasionally,
some advanced pitchers want to specify shoes on the lighter
side or heavier side of that range and that's why we have the other
two selections. If "Medium" is requested you'll get shoes
at the bottom of the weight range and if "Heavy" is selected you'll
get shoes near the maximum weight. Obviously, it's only a two ounce
range, so the difference is nearly imperceptible to most people.
But for those who have a preference, those options are there.
It seems those who've been at it a while seem to prefer the slightly
heavier shoe.

Note: If you want
to order multiple pairs of the same item with different colors and
weights on each you may have to enter the items individually into
