Details on each model:
Imperial:
Designed in the mid 1960's and
available to the masses starting in 1968, the Imperial took the
horseshoe world by storm. Elmer Hohl pitched it in the world
championships that year and set the all-time world tournament record
for highest ringer percentage, averaging 88.2% ringers for 35 fifty
point games against the toughest players of all time! This
shoe is time tested and is still pitched by many of today's
champions.
Six Shooter:
We've received more success
stories on this particular shoe than any other shoe we've made,
including many reports of dramatically improved ringer
percentages! The extra wide blades seem to provide just
enough gripping area that the pitcher gains a bit more control
over the direction of the shoe, resulting in more ringers.
Plus, the interior angles of the shoe help keep it on the stake
as good or better than any other shoe out there. With the
Six Shooter, if you throw them on, they stay on!
Big Foot:
You will stomp out your competition
with the Big Foot! This "five-sided" horseshoe is balanced
perfectly for any turn and it flips pretty well too! This
is another one of those where if you throw it on, it stays put.
The angles on this shoe really make the difference. It has
a very sharp ringer break, stake grabbing hooks and weighted
tips... the balance is really awesome on this shoe and its
smooth, rounded edges really help you get a clean release and
therefore more consistency in your direction. Of course,
the Big Foot is manufactured from the highest quality, most
durable material on the market and is backed by our no hassle
one year factory warranty... you break 'em, we'll buy you
another pair... right now!
Glory:
This was the first shoe
we ever made and it's one of our most established models. It was
designed and pitched by three time men's world champion, Dan Kuchcinski and
has some very innovative features. It's directing reversed-ringer
break and sharp hooks are designed to hold the stake. It has excellent
dead center balance and features the popular narrow blade design similar to
shoes like the Ted Allen, but at almost half the price!
