Big Foot has its origins in the well-known Canadian shoe, the M & M Speical... There was quite a growing demand for an American  made version of the M & M Special that we just could no longer deny.  As you can see, it is a unique shape which was challenging to duplicate.  Our version is not an exact copy, but the differences are minor and we think they enhance the design of the shoe.  Most people who pitch M & M's have no trouble converting to the Big Foot.  Its shape leans toward it being a primarily a turn shoe, but you do see people flipping this shoe too...

Our Canadian competitor likes to claim that their substrate (cast carbon steel) is superior to our iron alloy.  All we can say to that is that we used to make a number of our horseshoes out of steel and after years of comparing the two side-by-side, we found the iron alloy to be superior in every way to steel...
